Fred Licon

Chief Marketing Officer

With over 25 years of experience, Fred has demonstrated versatile leadership in strategic planning, brand development and market expansion across multiple sectors and diverse industries.

At Flint Cooper, Fred leads strategic initiatives and fosters partnerships to enhance the firm’s brand visibility and revenue growth.

Prior to Flint Cooper, Fred served as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Atomic 47 and Lineup Media Group, where he managed all operational aspects and led cross-functional teams across several startups in domestic and international markets. Previously, Fred served as the Director of Government and Community Affairs for Wynn Resorts, Ltd. and Las Vegas Sands Corp., respectively, where he developed advocacy, corporate citizenship and community engagement strategies in emerging domestic and foreign gaming jurisdictions.

Before his time in the private sector, Fred served as Deputy Assistant to the Mayor for the City of Omaha, Nebraska, where he aided Mayor Fahey in formulating and implementing policies, programs and special projects across a range of critical community issues.

Fred began his commitment to public service by serving his beloved hometown as the Program Manager of Human Development and AmeriCorps*VISTA Supervisor for the El Paso Empowerment Zone Corporation, in which he managed a multi-million-dollar health and human service budget, and implemented strategies, designed to build capacity and improve quality of life standards throughout economically distressed neighborhoods.

A native Spanish speaker and first-generation college attendee from El Paso, Texas, Fred earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Political Economy from Williams College and Exeter College, University of Oxford and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame. Fred continues harnessing his upbringing and experience across public, private and non-profit sectors to foster meaningful relationships with, and outcomes for, the firm’s clients and their families.
