A native of Granite City, Illinois, Joe focuses on asbestos-related claims and concentrates his efforts on discovery matters.
His legal experience began with work at the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office and with one of the midwest’s leading title insurance companies. In 2004, his article, “A Primer on Mineral Interests in Illinois Real Estate,” was published in the Illinois State Bar Association Mineral Law Newsletter.
For three years, Joe provided pro bono services to a group that included workers, physicians and U.S. Senate and House of Representatives staff members that successfully obtained more than $30,000,000 in compensation for more than 200 southern Illinois industrial workers suffering from radiation–related injuries. Joe also holds a Mediation Skills Certificate from Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies.
